Antique Mappin and Webb silver plated teapot with ebony handle and matching creamer.
The two pretty pieces stand on little feet.
The teapot and the creamer have scalloped edging and both share the same pattern of a band of a fern leaf / vine.
The teapot has a hinged lid with a button top and is hallmarked Mappin & Webb Sheffield London.

Mappin and Webb was founded in 1775 when Jonathan Mappin opened a silver workshop in Sheffield. The company took the name Mappin & Webb in 1862 and in 1889 became Mappin and Webb Ltd. The company still exists today.
