This last month has been really busy for us, organising and preparing for three fairs all held in March. Our second ever Jewellery Fair and first for this year was held on 3rd March. At first it was touch and go as to whether it went ahead because of the bad weather (snow, snow, snow). We persevered and went ahead. We had a great day and the footfall had definitely increased more than the first fair held in September 2017, so we were really pleased with the outcome. We are really excited that the Jewellery Fair is taking off, a couple of jewellery designers went away with large commissions and one jeweller is hoping to display their handmade silver jewellery in a local Essex boutique.
Our next fair was the Orwell Antique & Vintage Fair on the 18 March, again we battled with the snow and although it was bitterly cold we went ahead with our fair. We were beginning to think the snow was following us around.
Our third fair was the Hadstock Easter Bazaar held on the 24 March. Raising much needed funds for emergency ceiling repairs to the historic St Botolph’s Church Hadstock, which has the oldest working door in Great Britain. An amazing £800 was raised.
We so looking forward to spring.
We hope you all have a fantastic Easter, enjoy the Easter holidays.
